Hurricane Assistance Plan

We offer Hurricane Assistance Plans to vessels of all sizes in the Southwest Florida region. From adding and checking lines, to removing/storing isinglass/strataglass windows we can provide complete hurricane preparedness. In the event of a named storm, we will come to your boat and prepare it for the storm, provide pictures of the work completed for your insurance company, and once the storm passes return the boat to its “normal” condition.

Some of the items under the Hurricane Assisntace Plan include:

All hatches and seams will be taped.

All available lines and fenders will be deployed to secure the yacht to the docks and pilings.

Yacht will be centered in slip to avoid damage from dock and neighboring vessels.

All deck equipment, cushions, and removable canvas will be removed and stored indoors.

Lines will all be doubled and include 2 bow lines, 2 stern lines, and 4 spring lines.

If necessary, anchors will also be deployed”.
